On Sunday 16 January, the Municipality of Ponce in Puerto Rico made history For the first time on the island, an event held CiclovĂa type, like the one held in dozens of cities in different countries of North, Central and South. More than 1.000
cyclists of all ages and from different villages of the island called avant-garde responded to Ponce to visit this historic city, to take the streets, and enjoy cycling. The event was free of charge, allowing all types of cyclists - regardless of their economic and / or current job - to participate with their family and without having to make any sacrifice.
The event was a success on many levels, not a hitch occurred. There were all kinds of bicycles (road, urban, mountain, children, elderly, etc..) And all types of bikes (old, classic, doblecletas, and others who have neither class nor name!). There were people carrying their pets on their bikes. There were people carrying their children on a bicycle. There everything and everyone.
