SILVA TRANSPORT AS A SMALL CHILD ON A BIKE RIDER

In general, young children are not as safe as riding adult bike on the road with trucks. This is because at that age children do not yet have fully developed motor skills, and do not react as fast in traffic as adults. Sure, kids this age can ride bike in parks, etc. But sometimes we take our children, nephews, grandchildren, etc. with us on the road bike. For example, sometimes we want to bring to school by bike. How can we do? There are several alternatives. The main ones are: bike seats for children (child bike seats), tugs bike for children (child bike trailers), and cargo bikes (bikes charge).

The cheaper alternative is the child bike seat. It can be installed in the rear of the bike, or on the front. The child is always facing forward (Facing forward position). The child is strapped in the child bike seat by a belt. The child bike seat is lightweight, and places the child close to the adult to ride in bike. The bike child seat suitable for children under 5 years of age. The main disadvantage of this option is that if the adult bike handles silent and the bike (which is rare, but not impossible), the boy fall off the bike from a distance of 3 feet from the floor. Other disadvantages are that the bike may feel a bit heavy and difficult to maneuver due to the weight of the child on the bike, and can be uncomfortable for the adult attachment and removal of the bike while the child is in the bike seat .

The child bike trailer is more expensive. But if the adult bike that handles fell off the bike the boy - now at a distance of less than half a foot above the floor - do not fall, because these trailers are usually designed to be disconnected from the bike in case of an accident. These trailers sometimes have a seat belt. As the child is now much lower in relation to the floor, it is necessary to put a halt to flag trailer so that it is visible to motorists. The childlead bike trailers, of which there are different types, are for children under 5 years of age. The downside of the bike trailer is that it takes more space on the road bike. So be careful when making turns on the bike, or take care that the trailer will not be too much to one side. The trailer can be used in the city, but maybe not so ideal for that context. It is better for linear walks, parks, or other roads where vehicular traffic is not heavy.

Another type of child bike trailer is one that is like a child's bike chopped in half. This bike is secured to the back of the bike the adult and the child can ride (if you want) on your own bike. This type of trailer is more suitable for the road, as it occupies the same space as the bike, and kept in a straighter line behind the adult bike. In this trailer you must also put a top banner, to be visible. Naturally, this trailer is heavier than a bike child seat, but the weight does not fall directly on the adult bike. This type of trailer also puts the child in a higher position on the floor, in case of an accident.

Finally, perhaps the best alternative, but also the most expensive, is by bike . There muchos tipos de cargo bikes diferentes.

The AAP has a number of recommendations and advice s on the subject of carrying small children in bike.

is important to note that it is advisable to put a helmet to the child while the child is on the bike, no matter the type of transport being used (ie child bike seat, child bike trailer, etc). It is also advised that only one adult, not another child, is the leading bike.

see, it's perfectly possible to carry a small child on the road bike. Solo caution should be exercised, and the advantages and disadvantages of each option available to do so.

MOTORIZED BIKES (WITH MOTOR BIKE)

folding bike electric motor

On 26 January 2011 The Hon Representative Norman Ramirez Rivera submitted a bill to regulate motorized bike. The bill includes a penalty of up to three years in prison (see measured at the end of this article). What are powered bikes? Do we need this measure?

powered bikes are nothing new. The first motorized bike was invented in France in 1868. The bike engine that ran on steam. The first kit from internal combustion engine (ie gas powered) for bike appeared New York, in 1896. Initially, the other attended to the rider pedals which used most of the time. Later, the other gained sufficient strength to the rider pedals will use only when they wanted to use engine. Eventually these evolved into motorized bikes motorcycles (motor) is now commonly seen on our roads.
motorized bikes and motor kits to put a bike, they continue to produce until today. These bikes come and go in fashion. They tend to become more popular when difficult economic conditions, or if the price of gasoline rises to high levels. The most advanced bike engines do not use gasoline now available. They are electric motors. But the electric motors for bicycles, for now are more expensive than gasoline engines for bicycles, which the gasoline engine is much more common.

in the U.S.. UU., Several states allow motorized bikes with internal combustion engine used on the road without registration or license. Other states limit the maximum engine speed (beyond that speed must register as Moopet, or motor). Each state has its own laws regarding these motorized bikes. The Federal government does not take the bike motorized vehicles and requires that they undergo the same safety regulations that no motor bikes.

The PRBC not in favor of motorized bikes. These bikes cause environmental pollution, and unnecessary noise pollution. The PRBC think the best engine in a bike are the legs rider. While we recognize that there are some cyclists who may benefit from some type of motor in bike, as some very old bicycle, or some riders who have chronic health problems.

However, PRBC considers that the measure presented by the Hon Representative Ramírez Rivera not necessary. The long history of motorized bike, and his historical acceptance in many countries, including the U.S.. UU., Demonstrates that these bikes are reasonably safe (there is no completely safe method of transportation). Moreover, difficult economic times through our island at this time, it is necessary that citizens have more affordable transportation alternatives to the car, or even the motor. The 3143 measure may be well intentioned. But the PRBC maintains that the measure must provide specific and detailed evidence in its explanatory memorandum on the alleged danger that the claims as presented motorized bikes to the public. Otherwise, the 3143 measure could cause impression of being written only to protect, not the rider, but the economic interests of motor vehicle dealers.

What do you think?
